Synopsis: Why would a man in his nineties, choose to pack up his entire life for a distant new home? For years he worked as a professor of arts in Orlando, where he shared his life and passion for art, with his wife Kristín Halldórsdóttir. But then she passed away. What was he to do in a place where the past was still so present and nothing seemed to lay ahead but the wait for the inevitable. ‘’That was not his stile!’’

But despite his age he still had his health so when an opportunity presented itself he jumped on it and bought a ranch in Texas. - There was nothing left to do now, but to pack up their entire life’s work. One hundred tons of sculptures, a vast collection of paintings and everything else that they had acquired throughout life. The course was set for Hill County, to create the Eyfells and Eyfells foundation, a tribute to the woman he loved so much. It was a new beginning. – A new birth.  This man is the sculptor and philosopher, Jóhann Eyfells.
