Synopsis: A modern day crime story set in Reykjavik. A busy lawyer is suddenly appointed to defend a criminal with multiple former convictions, who's suspected of a brutal murder. The man's sister accuses the police of prejudice and bungling the investigation. The lawyer is attracted to this energetic young woman, but at the same time has doubts about her. What's her involvement in the crime - and what is it that really motivates her?
