At the moment a selection of 700IS is going on a tour from East Iceland to Reykjavik to Norway, Lithuania, UK, USA and hopefully more countries in the near future. For more information enter here

The Skjaldborg Documentary Festival takes place annually in the town of Patreksfjordur. The festival presents new Icelandic documentary films, and also functions as a meeting point for filmmakers and others interested in documentaries.
Dozens of films have had their premiere at the festival in 2007 and 2008. Icelandic documentary production has flourished in recent years, but unfortunately it‘s difficult to the films to get screened at cinemas and on television. At Skjaldborg, however, people can enjoy watching these films in an excellent setting and take part in film-related discussions and panels. www.skjaldborgfilmfest.com (website in Icelandic only)
