ICELANDIC FILMS SCREENED IN BERLIN
Five Icelandic feature films will be presented at market screenings at the upcoming European Film Market, held in conjunction with the 59th annual Berlinale Film Festival in early February.
Five Icelandic feature films will be presented at market screenings at the upcoming European Film Market, held in conjunction with the 59th annual Berlinale Film Festival in early February. The titles are The Sunshine Boy, directed by Fridrik Thor Fridriksson, Country Wedding, directed by Valdis Oskarsdottir, Higher Force, directed by Olafur de Fleur Johannesson, Small Mountain, directed Einar Thor Gunnlaugsson, and Reykjavik-Rotterdam, directed by Oskar Jonasson.
Further, the feature film Rokland, based on the novel by the same name by Hallgrimur Helgason and currently in production, has been selected to take part in the festivals‘ co-production market.
