THE NORTHERN WAVE FILM FESTIVAL OPENS TODAY

The Northern Wave International Film Festival opens today for the second time in the town of Grundarfjordur.
The festival offers a varied and experimental take on cinema; the main focus is on short films and music videos but other types of film will also be screened. Other attractions include music events and a lecture by film director Bertrand Mandico. The festival closes on Sunday afternoon with an awards ceremony as the jury announces this year‘s winners.
