ICELANDIC SHORT FILM FOCUS IN THE NETHERLANDS
The GoShort short film festival, held in Nijmegen in The Netherlands between the 18th and 22nd of March, this year features a focus on Icelandic short films.
The GoShort short film festival, held in Nijmegen in The Netherlands between the 18th and 22nd of March, this year features a focus on Icelandic short films. Thirteen recently produced Icelandic short films by twelve directors will screen at the festival. The films range from scripted fiction through to more experimental efforts and animation. However, they all share a focus on the human condition and modernity.
GoShort will also host a panel discussion, moderated by academic Birgir Thor Moller, on Icelandic short films. Among participants will be Icelandic short film directors and other professionals in the field.
