WHITE NIGHT WEDDING RECEIVES AUDIENCE AWARD
The feature film White Night Wedding, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, received the Audience Award at the 16th International Titanic Film Festival that took place in Budapest in Hungary between March 26th and April 5th.
The feature film White Night Wedding, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, received the Audience Award at the 16th International Titanic Film Festival that took place in Budapest in Hungary between March 26th and April 5th.
Icelandic films have been successful at the Titanic festival before; last year the documentary Sigur Ros: Heima received the Audience Award and at the same time the feature film Jar City, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, received the festival‘s main prize, The Breaking Waves Award.
This year Baltasar Kormakur was the festival‘s jury foreman, since he is the director of last year‘s main prize winning film.
