Jeffrey and Beth tells the story of Jeffrey, a young American living in Iceland who takes part in a self-help course with the hope of improving his relationship with his ex-girlfriend. Beth is his instructor on the course, but Jeffrey soon begins to suspect that she is not trying to help him achieve his goal. Seth Sharp plays the role of Jeffrey and Greta Sandra Davidsson plays the role of Beth.
Waste takes place in the middle of a civil war in Reykjavik after the great revolution. As fighting breaks out in a country that has never had a military and has always stood for peace, the pointlessness of war becomes clear to a disillusioned soldier. The film was shown in Icelandic movie theaters ahead of the feature Gran Torino, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. Waste stars Hafsteinn Gunnar Hafsteinsson and Gudmundur Jonas Haraldsson.
