MR. BJARNFREDARSON AND THE PRISON SHIFT SWEEP THE EDDA AWARDS
The cast and crew of the TV-series The Prison Shift and its offspring movie, Mr. Bjarnfredarson, swept the EDDA Awards Ceremony which took place on February 27.
Altogether Mr. Bjarnfredarson and The Prison Shift won 9 awards, including Feature Film of the Year, TV-Fiction of the year, Director of the Year (Ragnar Bragason), Actor of the Year (Jón Gnarr) and Actor of the Year in a Supporting Role (Björn Thors). Fridrik Thór Fridriksson’s latest feature, Mamma Gógó, was awarded three EDDA’s, including Actress of the Year (Kristbjörg Kjeld), while Gudrún Gísladóttir picked up the award for Actress of the Year in a Supporting Role for her appearance in the feature film December.
