FRIÐRIK ÞÓR FRIÐRIKSSON RECEIVES TRENCIN MAYOR'S AWARD
The city of Trencin in Slovakia was recently host to the Artfilm Fest film festival. Among the festival‘s highlights was a focus on the works of Icelandic director Friðrik Þór Friðriksson.
The city of Trencin in Slovakia was recently host to the Artfilm Fest film festival. Among the festival‘s highlights was a focus on the works of Icelandic director Friðrik Þór Friðriksson.
At a screening of the film Devil‘s Island at the Metro Cinema on Monday night, Friðriksson was awarded with a special Mayor of Trencin Award. Trencin‘s mayor Branislav Celler presented Friðriksson with the award in front of an audience of the festival‘s guests.
Artfilm Fest was held between June 18 and 26.
