Kurzfilm boards short film FELT CUTE

Hamburg-based company Kurzfilm Sales has secured international rights to Felt Cute, a short film by Icelandic filmmaker Anna Karín Lárusdóttir.

This deal follows a successful festival run, beginning at the Stockfish Film Festival, where it earned the Shortfish Prize for the best narrative short film.

Felt Cute has since been selected for prestigious festivals, such as Odense International film Festival, Brest European Short Film Festival, Giffoni Film Festival, and Schlingel International Film Festival, to name a few.

Kurzfilms Sales is highly selective in its licensing, only adding 15 top quality shorts every year, handling both world sales and theatrical distribution.

Felt Cute is Anna Karín Lárusdóttir‘s third short film. The film follows Breki, an 11-year-old who is constantly at odds with his older sister Bergdís, but all he wants is her validation. One day when she is out, Breki sneaks into her closet and makeup, leaving the room a mess. When the family returns to the scene, a series of events unfold leading to a long overdue confrontation between the siblings.
