QUAKE by Tinna Hrafnsdóttir selected for TIFF Industry Selects

Tinna Hrafnsdóttir's feature film Quake has been selected for TIFF Industry Selects, which is part of the industry section at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The festival takes place from September 9 - 18 and the Industry Selects titles will be presented on TIFF's Digital Cinema Pro platform, accessible to accredited buyers, press and industry throughout the festival.

Quake is written and directed by Tinna Hrafnsdóttir and it is her debut feature film. The film based on a novel by Audur Jónsdóttir and tells the story of Saga, a single mother in her late 30s. She recovers from a sudden and severe epileptic attack, repressed memories start to return, revealing painful truths about her and her past. The film stars Aníta Briem, Edda Björgvinsdóttir and Jóhann Sigurdsson. 

The film is produced by Hlín Jóhannesdóttir for Ursus Parvus and is scheduled to premiere in the beginning of next year.
