IN A HEARTBEAT WON THE BEST SHORT FILM AWARD AT THE INDIAN CHILDREN'S FILM FESTIVAL
In a Heartbeat, a short Icelandic film by the director Karolina Lewicka, won the Best Short Film Award at the Indian Children‘s Film Festival, held in Bengaluru and a few more cities in the state of Karnataka in India from the 9th to 14th of January 2012.

LAST DAYS OF THE ARCTIC AND NO BONE ? NO SKIN TO THESSALONIKI
Two Icelandic documentary films, Last Days of the Arctic by Magnús Vidar Sigurdsson and No Bone – No Skin by Ingvar A. Thórisson have been selected to participate in the 14th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival in Greece on the 9th to 18th of March 2012.
