AND BREATHE NORMALLY wins award in the Netherlands

And Breathe Normally, writer/director Ísold Uggadóttir‘s debut feature, won the Award for Special Contribution to Northern Cinema at the Noordelijk Film Festival in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. Uggadóttir attended the festival and accepted the award.

And Breathe Normally has now won a total of 10 international awards at festivals. It had its world premiere at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, where Uggadóttir won Best Director in the festival‘s World Cinema Dramatic Competition. It has won a total of four awards at American festivals and has also won awards in Portugal, Greece, Australia, Sweden and the Faroe Islands.
