Dalía, by Brúsi Ólason, selected to be part of Future Frames – Generation NEXT of European Cinema at Karlovy Vary

Dalía, a graduation film by Brúsi Ólason from Columbia University School of the Arts, has been selected to be part of Future Frames: Generation NEXT of European Cinema at the official Industry Days (KVIFF Eastern Promises) of this year's Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF). The programme, which has been expanded by several kick-off events, will be running from June 29 - July 8, 2020.

Ten film students and graduates are selected to present their latest work at the event, held by EFP (European Film Promotion), which aims to highlight promising young directors.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Czech Republic and one of the oldest A-list film festivals. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, this year's festival was cancelled, but it will still offer a taste of the festival at selected movie theaters nationwide and the online KVIFF Eastern Promises Industry Days, which will enable the ten young filmmakers to get to know and understand the professional industry better.
