Director Baltasar Kormákur will be presenting a Masterclass on Directing at FEST 2019

Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur will be presenting a Masterclass on Directing at FEST - New Directors New Films Festival, which will be held from June 24 - July 1 in Espinho, Portugal.

Baltasar is the director and producer of the film Everest (2015) His major works include 2 Guns, starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, 101 Reykjavik (2000), his first feature film as a director, and, most recently, Adrift (2018). In 2016 Kormákur ventured into television with his unique ten part crime series, Trapped, a huge success all over Europe and other parts of the world, which followed by season 2 in 2018.
