Icelandic Film Days in Stockholm

Icelandic Film Days will run from August 25 – 27 at the Zita cinema in Stockholm, Sweden. Now in its second year, it will showcase a selection of new and recent Icelandic films.

The films that will be screened are Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson‘s award winning Heartstone, Erlingur Óttar Thoroddsen‘s sophomore feature Rift and veteran Baltasar Kormákur‘s The Oath, which will have its Sweden premiere.

Grandma Lo-fi, the documentary by Orri Jónsson, Kristín Björk Kristjánsdóttir and Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir will also be screened, along with a selection of short films by Gudmundur Arnar Gudmundsson and Hlynur Pálmason.

Icelandic Film Days are organized by Ari Allansson, the Embassy of Iceland in Stockholm, the Icelandic Film Centre and Promote Iceland.
