MIDPOINT Feature Launch is open for application

MIDPOINT's project development program for feature films and filmmakers is open for applications.
The program runs through five months with two residential workshops and
online consultations. It is aimed at creative teams of directors, writers
and producers and focuses on emerging filmmakers from around the world who are looking to develop their 1st or 2nd feature film and not the least to
network with other international film professionals.
Nine projects will be handpicked by a selection committee, and starting this
year one project will be awarded the MIDPOINT Development Award of 8.000
euros.

Feature Launch will open the Rough Cut Atelier for projects in rough-cut stage, providing professional consultations in the editing room. This module is open to teams of director and editor, and has two separate workshops, both taking place during the Feature Launch program. Workshop 1 will be held in Ohrid, Macedonia, June 10 – 16, 2017. Application deadline March 24, 2017.

Workshop 2 will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, October 15 - 21, 2017. Application deadline July 15, 2017.
