New online platform opens Reykjavík International Children's Film Festival - Heimabíó Paradís

The International Children's Film Festival will be held for the seventh time from November 27 - December 6 2020. This year the festival will be held online for the first time ever with a new online platform from Bíó Paradís, Heimabíó Paradís. In addition to the films streaming at the festival, Heimabíó Paradís offers a variety of films from all over the world, starting with 10 of their favorites in celebration of the cinema's 10th birthday.

The aim of the International Children's Film Festival is to increase access to children's films from all over the world that would otherwise not be shown in Iceland and let children experience life through different viewpoints.

Bíó Paradís is Iceland's first and only art-house cinema It screens the best in contemporary world cinema, cults and classics, hosts many film and cultural events, and organizes film-literacy screenings for schoolchildren.
