Nominations for the Icelandic Edda Awards for the year 2018
Selection committees have decided which films and TV shows, series and programs will be nominated for the Edda Awards, which take place on the 25th of February, 2018.
In total 111 projects were submitted; 8 feature fiction films, 13 documentaries, 10 children programs/films, 9 short films, 5 TV-drama shows and 76 other TV-programs.
The Edda award categories are 26 plus a specially selected honorary member of the Academy.
In the course of the next 10 days, all academy members will be eligible to choose the winners from the nominations.
The award ceremony is on the 25th of February and will be broadcasted live on RUV.
