Hanna Ragnheiður Ingadóttir new Head of Finance of the Icelandic Film Centre

Hanna Ragnheiður Ingadóttir has been hired as Head of Finance at the Icelandic Film Centre. She takes over from Jón Óskar Hallgrímsson, who has held the position since 2015.

Hanna Ragnheiður holds a BA degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from Bifröst University. She has a master's degree in International Business from the University of Reykjavík, and has completed several courses in public administration at the University of Iceland.

Hanna has worked as a financial specialist in the Finance and Operation Department of the Icelandic Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs for the past two years. Previously, she worked as a specialist in the Department of Administration at the Ministry of Industry and Innovation for almost six years. In her roles at the ministries, she has managed various projects, including improvements and development of procedures, accounting, drafting and negotiation of proposals, and cost and impact assessments of ministerial proposals.

Hanna Ragnheiður has also been involved in budgeting and financial planning, operational planning, and financial oversight with a number of budgetary units of the Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs, including the reimbursement of film production-related expenses. Hanna has overseen the finances of various sub-agencies of the ministry, including the Icelandic Film Centre and the National Film Archive of Iceland. Previously, Hanna worked as a project manager and entrepreneur at GeoSilica Iceland ehf. for one year, contributing to the establishment of the company.
