QUAKE by Tinna Hrafnsdóttir presented at the Finnish Film Affair's Nordic Selection

Tinna Hrafnsdóttir's feature film in post-production, Quake, will take part in the Finnish Film Affair's Nordic Selection, which highlights emerging talents from the North. The Finnish Film Affair takes place both online and in Helsinki, Finland from September 23 - 25. 

Quake is written and directed by Tinna Hrafnsdóttir and it is her debut feature film. The film based on a novel by Audur Jónsdóttir and tells the story of Saga, a single mother in her late 30s, who recovers from a sudden and severe epileptic attack, repressed memories start to return, revealing painful truths about her and her past.

The Finnish Film Affair is the industry event of Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & AnarchyQuake is one out of four Nordic fiction works by 1st or 2nd feature directors presented as a Nordic Selection in the Finnish Film Affair's Showcase event.

Quake is produced by Hlín Jóhannesdóttir for Ursus Parvus and is scheduled to premiere in the beginning of 2021.
