Stockfish Film Festival starts March 12

The Stockfish Film Festival starts March 12 in Bíó Paradís cinema. The festival‘s opening film is Emil Langballe‘s Q's Barbershop, a Danish documentary.

Over 20 hand-picked award-winning films from all over the world will screen at the festival, which runs from March 12 - 22. Also, six short films will compete for the Shortfish award at the festival‘s short film competition.

Three Icelandic documentaries will have their premiere at the festival, Gunnaugur Thór Pálsson's Just Like a Painting by Eggert Pétursson, Anna Dís Ólafsdóttir's The Far Traveller and Magnea B. Valdimarsdóttir's Helgi on a Stick. The festival also offers many interesting events as a part of the festival's industry days, such as masterclasses, seminars, panels, lectures an works-in-progress.
