Stockfish Film Festival starts today

The Stockfish Film Festival starts today in Bíó Paradís cinema. The festival‘s opening film is Brad Silberling‘s An Ordinary Man, starring Hera Hilmar and Oscar winner Ben Kingsley. Hera Hilmar will be in attendance at the opening ceremony along with Silberling and Rick Dugdale, one of the film‘s producers.

A total of 19 hand-picked award-winning films from all over the world will screen at the festival, which runs from March 1 – 11. Also, six short films will compete for the Shortfish award at the festival‘s short film competition.

The festival offers many interesting events as a part of the festival’s industry days, such as masterclasses, seminars, panels, and lectures.
