WOMarts launched, a European professional network for gender equality in the arts

The new platform, WOMarts.net, was launched on March 8, on the occasion of International Women's Day. The platform is an open and safe portal in which European artists can promote themselves and their artworks, in order to create connections with other artists and cultural agents as well as to find new audiences in Europe.

The portal is free to register into and use, and it is open for all professional artists in Europe. The registered artists can decide themselves when and what to share about their career, work and creative endeavors to their audiences and stakeholders internationally. At the moment the portal consists of artist profiles from women who have been part of the Womarts residency and further training programs in different parts of Europe. From today onwards the portal is open to all artists who are interested in promoting themselves and their work internationally.
