Thirteen Icelandic films at La Rochelle

This year's La Rochelle International Film Festival, which will be held June 28–July 7 in La Rochelle, France, will include thirteen Icelandic films in a special section called Du Côté de L'Islande.

Now in its 47th year, La Rochelle is a noncompetitive festival that aims to explore all varieties of the cinematic world, even its most remote corners.

The 13 films are:

Of Horses and Men by Benedikt Erlingsson (2013)

Rams by Grímur Hákonarson (2015)

Sparrows by Rúnar Rúnarsson (2015)

Summerland by Grímur Hákonarson (2010)

Virgin Mountain by Dagur Kári (2015)

Volcano by Rúnar Rúnarsson (2011)

Woman at War by Benedikt Erlingsson (2018)

Winter Brothers by Hlynur Pálmason (2017)

A White, White Day by Hlynur Pálmason (2019)
