12 Icelandic films at Angers – special tribute to Sólveig Anspach

A total of 12 Icelandic films will screen as part of an Icelandic retrospective at the Festival Premiers Plans D'Angers, which is being held January 22 – 31 in Angers, France. The retrospective will contain a special tribute to the Icelandic/French director Sólveig Anspach, who passed away last year at the age of 54.

Among those attending the festival are Icelandic writer/director Dagur Kári (Virgin Mountain, Noi the Albino) and Patrick Sobelman, a frequent producer of Sólveig Anspach's films, including her most recent one, The Together Project, which will be released later this year.

The 12 films screening in the retrospective are:
