A SONG CALLED HATE wins Best Documentary award at Seeyousound Music Film Festival

A Song Called Hate by Anna Hildur won the Best Long Play Music Documentary Award at Seeyousound Music Film Festival, which took place from February 19 - 25 in Italy. 

In the jury's reasoning it said: "One can not deny that this film forces the audience to consistently engage with it on intellectual and political terms by presenting you the complexed question facing artist grabbling with one of the with one of the most difficult social and political issues of our time. It encourages empathy by taking you on a journey to the heart of the conflict and puts a real human and musical face on an oppressed but resilient people. The film is also expertly shot and edited and its images and ideas linger long after the final Eurovision showdown.“ Stephen Kijak, filmmaker and chairman of the jury for LP DOC at Seeyousound.

A Song Called Hate - Best documentary

A Song Called Hate was directed and produced by Anna Hildur for Tattarrattat and centers around the performance art group Hatari, who made headlines at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
