Award winners at RIFF

The Reykjavík International Film Festival (RIFF) ended on October 9. On October 8 the closing ceremony took place, where Bulgarian feature Godless by Ralitza Petrova won RIFF‘s main prize, The Golden Puffin. Cubs, a short film by Nanna Kristín Magnúsdóttir won for Best Icelandic Short.

Environmental Award: The Islands and the Whales by Mike Day

Best International Short: Home by Daniel Mulloy

Best Icelandic Short: Cubs by Nanna Kristín Magnúsdóttir

Golden Egg: The Duke by Max Barbakow

Audience Award: Mr. Gaga by Tomer Heymann

Special mention in the New Visions category: The Giant by Johannes Nyholm
