BOGANCLOCH documentary premieres in Locarno
Bogancloch, a documentary by Ben Rivers, had its world premiere in the main competition of the Locarno Festival in Switzerland on August 9.
The film is a British, German, and Icelandic co-production and received production support from the Icelandic Film Centre. Hanna Björk Valsdóttir is one of the film’s producers for Akkeri Films, and Björn Viktorsson handled the sound design.

Bogancloch is an artistic documentary shot on 16mm film, focusing on the life of Jake Williams in a remote forest in Scotland. It is a standalone sequel to Two Years at Sea (2011), which received critical acclaim and won numerous international awards.
