Dadi Einarsson wins BAFTA for Special, Visual & Graphic Effects for THE WITCHER

Icelandic visual effects supervisor, Dadi Einarsson, has won the BAFTA Television Craft Awards for Special, Visual & Graphic Effects for the Netflix series The Witcher. Einarsson won the award along with his team; Gavin Round; Aleksander Pejic; Oliver Cubbage; Stefano Pepin; and Jet Omoshebi. The award ceremony took place in on April 24.

Einarsson is known for visual effects in the films Gravity and Everest, and the TV series Trapped and Hunters

Other Icelanders that have won a BAFTA Award are Hildur Gudnadóttir for the music in the film Joker and the TV series Chernobyl, Ólafur Arnalds for the music in the TV series Broadchurch, and Valdís Óskarsdóttir for editing in the film The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
