Distribution for GODLAND going strong

GODLAND, by Icelandic writer and director Hlynur Pálmason, has so far scored sales in over 40 territories, after a strong world premiere in Cannes 2022.

The film was recently acquired by Janus Films in North America, with plans on a theatrical release to be followed by a Criterion Channel streaming premiere.

Other territories include Curzon for the UK, A Contracorriente for Spain, Imagine for Benelux, Movies Inspired for Italy, Vertigo Media for Czech Republic, Slovakia among others. Co-production countries where the film is due to open include Iceland (Sena), Scandinavia (Scanbox), and France (Jour de Fête).

GODLAND is produced by Denmark's Snowglobe with Iceland's Join Motion Pictures. International sales for Godland are handled by New Europe Film Sales.
