Four Icelandic films screened at Helsinki International Film Festival

Four Icelandic films will be screened at the Helsinki International Film Festival - Love & Anarchy which takes place from September 16 - 26 in Finland. 

The feature film Alma by Kristín Jóhannessdóttir will be screened as part of the Nordic Council Film Prize section at the festival. Alma is Iceland's nominee for the prize which will be awarded November 2 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The documentary Raise the Bar by Gudjón Ragnarsson will be screened in the Hear me Roar! section which tells the tales of courage, activism and finding one's own voice.

Two Icelandic short films, Heartless by Haukur Björgvinsson and All Dogs Die by Ninna Pálmadóttir, will be screened in the short film program Family Ties.
