GODLAND in Telluride lineup

Telluride Film Festival's official 2022 lineup has been announced, revealing Hlynur Pálmason's third feature film, Godland, among the 39 films screened at the festival.

The film is set in the late 19th century and follows a Lutheran priest from Denmark who is sent to Iceland to oversee the establishment of a new parish church, only to have his faith tested and challenged by the harsh conditions of life in rural Iceland.

The film premiered in the Un Certain Regard program at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
