Icelandic films in focus at Les Arcs 2024
The focus of the 2024 edition of the Les Arcs Film Festival will be on Icelandic cinema and music where twenty Icelandic films in total will be screened.
Two new titles will be screened in the main program of the festival. Rúnar Rúnarsson's When the Light Breaks is in competition, and Baltasar Kormákur's Touch in the Oscars on Skis section.
The festival's ties to Icelandic filmmaking have long been strong. A number of Icelandic films have been screened there over the years and won awards, in addition to many Icelandic projects in development having participated in its industry section.
