Ingvar Sigurdsson wins Award for Outstanding Performance in Clermont-Ferrand
Ingvar Sigurdsson was named Best Actor at the International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand. The festival took place from January 31 to February 8.
Sigurdsson received the award for his role in the short film O, directed by Rúnar Rúnarsson, produced by Heather Millard for Compass Films.
O is a poetic narrative about a man who wants to succeed, but his greatest obstacle is himself. The film premiered at the Venice Film Festival last autumn and has been traveling the world since. This is the film's third international award, and it has also been shortlisted for the European Film Awards 2025.
