Ritið (The Work) publishes a peer-reviewed journal on Icelandic films

The Centre for Research in the Humanitie publishes a peer-reviewed journal in Icelandic, Ritið (The Work), with contributions from across the humanities. It publishes a mixture of thematic papers and papers under an open rubric.

Issue no. 2/2019 is about Icelandic films and has four thematic papers, three historical and one regarding a certain film: The House from 1983. It also has two articles, one by Tom Gunning and the other one by Andrews D. Higsons, translated to Icelandic by Björn Thór Vilhjálmsson and Kjartan Már Ómarsson. Thematic editor of this issue is Björn Thór Vilhjálmsson and editor is Rannveig Sverrisdóttir.
