RVK Feminist Film Festival takes place online from January 14 - 17

RVK Feminist Film Festival is kicking off its second edition from January 14 - 17 and will be screening all films and events online for free.

RVK FFF will be screening diverse films in a wide variety of genres, the festival's scope emphasizes its vision to include those who do not already saturate the film industry. RVK FFF offers a platform that strengthens women filmmakers' voices and brings attention to thought-provoking subjects.

In collaboration with Nordic Film Focus, selected films will be screened by Norwegian filmmaker and artist Lene Berg. Audiences are invited to embrace world-class films, the SISTER Awards, take part in Q&A's, panel discussions, workshops, and networking events; both online and during physical events (held in-line with Icelandic Covid-19 regulations).

RVK FFF will also be screening films by the honorary Guest Halla Kristín Einarsdóttir who has paved the way for Icelandic Cinema. With particular focus, the 2021 edition will share visions from the LGBTQI+ community, discuss women DOP's and connect with women's rights concerning domestic abuse.

RVK Feminist Film Festival is a platform which utilises its scope to embrace equality. The festival encourages this inclusion through visions of film and subjects otherwise lacking in the general public.
