Six Icelandic films at Tromsø International Film Festival

Icelandic cinema will have a strong presence at the international film festival in Tromsø, taking place January 13-19, 2025.

A total of six Icelandic films will be shown at the festival; short films, feature-length fiction films, and a documentary.

The short films to be shown are O by Rúnar Rúnarsson, and Whim Rules the Child, and Weather the Field directed by Katla Sólnes.

The feature films screened at the festival are Epilogues directed by Ari Alexander Ergis Magnússon, Natatorium directed by Helena Stefánsdóttir, and Touch directed by Baltasar Kormákur.

Additionally, Pamela Hogan's documentary The Day Iceland Stood Still produced by Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir, will also be screened.
