SKINNY LOVE screened at Frameline Film Festival
Skinny Love, by Sigurdur Anton, will be screened at Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco, taking place July 18–28.
Skinny Love is a contemporary drama following Emilý, a twenty-five year old content creator. When she learns that her long-distance girlfriend wants to move to Iceland and make their open relationship exclusive, she must face her anxieties about the future. All the while trying to support her teenaged co-worker and battle financial difficulties.
The Frameline Film Festival is an annual event that screens and celebrates films by and about LGBTQ people, established in 1977.
Recently, Skinny Love was also shown at the Lovers Film Festival in Turin, Italy. Founded in 1986, it is the oldest LGBTQ+ film festival in Europe. The film premiered in Iceland in April 2024.
