SMOKE SAUNA SISTERHOOD director wins award at Sundance
Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, a feature documentary by Estonian film director Anna Hints, won the World Cinema Documentary Directing Award at Sundance Film Festival, which took place January 19–29.
The documentary is a coproduction between Estonia, France and Iceland, coproduced by Hlín Jóhannesdóttir from Icelandic production company Ursus Parvus. The original score is a creative collaboration between Icelandic composer Edvard Egilsson and experimental folk trio EETER, and the sound editor is Huldar Freyr Arnarson.
