The Day Iceland Stood Still Premieres at Hot Docs
The documentary The Day Iceland Stood Still will have its world premiere at the Hot Docs film festival in Canada on April 29.
The film recounts the events of October 24, 1975, when 90% of Icelandic women went on strike, demonstrating their importance in the Icelandic workforce.
The film is directed by Emmy Award-winner Pamela Hogan and produced in collaboration with Hrafnhildur Gunnarsdóttir.
Hot Docs takes place from April 25 to May 5 in Toronto, Canada.
