THE TOGETHER PROJECT receives standing ovation at Cannes premiere
The Together Project, the new film from the late writer/director Sólveig Anspach, had its world premiere in the Directors' Fortnight section of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival on May 17, where it received a standing ovation.
Among those representing the film at its premiere were Icelandic producer Skúli Fr. Malmquist and actress Didda Jónsdóttir, along with lead actors Florence Loiret Caille and Samir Guesmi, producer Patrick Sobelman and co-writer Jean-Luc Gaget. Most of the film's delegation also answered questions at a Q&A following the film's press screening.
Following the film's premiere at Cannes, the film has been receiving positive reviews, most notably from prominent industry publications Screen International and The Hollywood Reporter.
