VERA AND THE THIRD STONE by Bragi Thór Hinriksson selected for Cinekid Script LAB
Bragi Thór Hinriksson's project in development Vera and the Third Stone has been selected for the sixth edition of Cinekid Script LAB. The project is written and produced by Bragi Thór (Hreyfimyndasmiðjan ehf).
In total 12 projects were selected for the hands-on workshop that is designed to elevate each project to the next stage. The LAB, a six-month project-driven initiative that focuses on the development of scripts for children's films, begins during Cinekid for Professionals in Amsterdam from October 21 - 25, and runs through to the Berlinale in February 2020.
Bragi Thór directed the feature film The Falcons which was part of Cinekid 2018 and has won a number of awards since its premiere last year, including Best Director Award at SIFFCY and two awards at the Schlingel International Film Festival for Children and Young Audience; the Chemnitz Award, awarded by the festival‘s professional jury for international feature films and received an Honourable Mention from the festival‘s European children‘s jury.
