WHEN THE LIGHT BREAKS by Rúnar Rúnarsson receives Eurimages support

The feature film project When the Light Breaks by Rúnar Rúnarsson is among 33 projects to receive funding after the second Eurimages Project Evaluation Session of 2023.

The amount awarded to the project is 150.000 euros. In total 33 feature films receive funding this time, including 3 documentaries and 2 animated films. The total allocation amounts to 9.652.000 euros. The funds is granted three times a year for co-production projects.

When the Light Breaks is Rúnarsson's fourth feature film. His latest, Echo, had its world premiere in competition at the Locarno festival in 2019.
