YARN wins the Audience Award at Nordisk Panorama
Yarn, the documentary by Una Lorenzen, Heather Millard and Thórdur Bragi Jónsson, won the Audience Award at the 27th annual Nordisk Panorama festival in Malmö, Sweden. Producers and co-directors Heather Millard and Thórdur Bragi Jónsson were in attendance and accepted the award with screenwriter Krishan Arora.
The traditional crafts of crochet and knitting have become hot trends in modern art. In Yarn, we follow a few international artists and knitters as they bring yarn into the streets and our lives in new ways. Starting in Iceland, this quirky and thought-provoking film takes us on a colorful global journey as we discover how yarn connects us all.
Yarn had its world premiere at the Göteborg Film Festival in February and was screened at the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas, in March.
