Les Arcs Film Festival unveils complete programme of the Icelandic focus
Les Arcs Film Festival 2024 celebrates Iceland's cinema, showcasing a rich programme of feature and short films from Icelandic directors, alongside industry events, music collaborations, and special delegations from Iceland's film and music sectors.
As part of the focus, Les Arcs FF will welcome a wide selection of feature films, and shorts.
On the Industry side the Industry Village (December 14th to 17th) will welcome 3 projects in development as part of the 18 projects composing the Coproduction Village section:

by Vala Ómarsdóttir, produced by Ursus Parvus (Iceland), BIND (The Netherlands), Alexandra Film (Estonia) - Seven Balconies

The Coproduction Village also welcomes a project by Clara Lemaire Anspach, Rosa Candida, produced by Haut et Court (France), and adapted from the famous book by Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir.
The Industry Village will welcome an Icelandic film in post-production for its renowned Work in Progress, with a spot out of competition for The Fires by Ugla Hauksdóttir produced by Netop Films & Madants, sales by Bankside Films. Exclusive excerpts will be shown in Les Arcs on December 15th.

Additionally, Hrönn Marinósdóttir, festival director of Reykjavík IFF will be part of the prestigious TITRAFILM Award jury for the Work in Progress session. The Industry Village will also welcome Gísli Snær Erlingsson, director of the Icelandic Film Centre, Brynhildur Birgisdóttir, Senior Production Advisor at film centre, accompanied by 3 producers without projects who will be able to expand their international network as well as meet with the projects and participants of Les Arcs:

The Industry Village links music and cinema, and has enhanced a partnership with Iceland Music. In this frame, the Music Village will welcome 5 professionals from the music on film industry:

The focus is organized in partnership with the Icelandic Film Centre & Iceland Music, with the support of the Icelandic Embassy in Paris. The ambassador of Iceland in France Unnur Orradóttir-Ramette will be present in Les Arcs to represent the country and embassy.
